BIG NEWS - I have just signed an exclusive, 5-year international license agreement with a major, very cool retailer based out of New York City. My artwork will be used for an entire product line and proudly display my name and signature as the designer for the products. More news will follow with the specifics of the deal, but this is a WONDERFUL opportunity and I am over the moon (yes THAT moon). I will provide the details as the process unfolds. The potential is huge.

WATCH this space for another BIG venture that will launch by this time next month…Expansion is a good thing…unless you are talking about waistlines and egos. I am trying to keep both of them in line, thank you!

We’ve all heard the expression…”follow your heart and the money will follow.” This is a variation on a theme. I have followed my heart and my head has flowered….as well as a few other things!!!

AS ABOVE, SO BELOW:
This past month we witnessed an unusual astrological event on March 21^st called a Grand Cross. A Grand Cross is when four major planets oppose and square each other. This particular Grand Cross was especially important since it involved the most powerful transformative planets (Mars and Pluto) and the most personal planets (Sun and Moon). The drama was even more electric because the Grand Cross occurred in cardinal signs. Cardinal signs are all about initiating. The Sun was in Aries, opposed by the Moon in Libra. Mars in Cancer opposed Pluto in Capricorn. The energy surrounding this event was further elevated given that it all occurred on the Vernal Equinox. The Vernal Equinox of March 21^st was the time when three events occurred – 1. Spring began with equal amounts of day and night; 2. the Sun ingressed (moved) into Aries; and 3. the grand cross occurred heralding transformation through the energy of four powerful planets transiting (moving) through Cardinal signs. In short, lots of tension and lots of transformation. Always view these events as opportunities. Opportunities arise out of tension. What manifests is divine. FORECAST:

Without a doubt the most significant event coming up in the month of April occurs between Mars, and Uranus. Mars will be at 20 degrees Cancer (cardinal water) and Uranus will be at 20 degrees Pisces (mutable water) all around the movement of the Sun into Taurus towards the end of the month; the 19^th, 20^th and 21 to be exact. These two planets will be immersed in water with a trine from Mars to Uranus. Trines are harmonious and bring benefic results to those who have strong aspects to those planets in their natal charts. New loves and business ventures fare well under these circumstances and often they occur “out of the blue” in true Uranian form. Mars is about drive and action, while Uranus dominates the realm of the sudden and revolutionary. Mix them up under harmonious, combined energies and you have a recipe for excitement and promise.

Another significant alignment happens between Saturn and Pluto. During the middle to end of the month, retrograding Saturn at one degree Virgo will be trining Pluto at one degree Capricorn. Both of these are earth signs; Virgo is mutable earth and rather kind to Saturn while he visits, and Pluto is in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn, where he is busy undoing large organizations and rebuilding them so they serve us all better. Since this is a trine (harmonious) relationship between these two planets, you can expect foundational change due to the cardinality of earth-based Capricorn, but with reverence to detail and hard-work which is the realm of Virgo. <>All in all, I’d say the month holds great promise for new beginnings. Nothing worth having ever comes too easily. Expect transformation to occur, but prepare for it to benefit us all. <>

Astrology 101: Fourth House
It is appropriate, that as we enter the fourth month of the year, we turn our focus to the fourth house. If you have been following these newsletters you will recognize this as the next house in my discussion. The fourth house is also referred to as the Imum Coeli or IC which is Latin for “bottom of the sky” and refers to the lower half of the astrology chart. It represents our inherited subconscious and our roots. Our lineage and past are represented in our families and our maternal environment. Although many astrologers do not attribute the fourth house to Cancer, I see it as directly connected since the fourth house pertains to the home. The home is best symbolized by the mother (and the Moon, and hence Cancer), who served as our true first home. From the womb we came. Therefore we can think of this house as the “womb with a view.” That view is our subconscious. Our inherited traits and characteristics are passed on through our parents and their lineage as well. It is one long evolutionary continuum.

<>The fourth house also pertains to agriculture (from the root, again) and domesticity, estates, land, late-life environments, security, privacy and all things related to the inner core of our spirit. Since it is at the figurative bottom of the chart, these realms are especially evident in the characteristics and future of the individual. The IC directly opposes the MC or medium coeli (top of the sky) which represents career and public persona. It makes sense that our career and destiny would be directly linked to the root of our existence. It is from that opposing tension or stress (not a bad word) that the opportunity and fruition come to life. As I stated at the beginning; free your heart and your head will flower. Free your inner person and your destiny will truly come to life.
