NEW ~ Weekly Astrology Video Forecast
As we wind down the month of January we will say goodbye to the month with a supermoon Lunar eclipse on the 31st. This event will be a marvelous view of a big bold full Moon in Leo. A full Moon lunar eclipse requires that the Sun, Moon and earth all align with the earth being in the center. This alignment is known as syzygy, which appears to be a typo with way too many syllables but is, in fact, the term we use to describe this alignment. The result is a deep, dark red moon that highlights the Moonís placement behind the umbra or shadow of the earth. This is also referred to as a blood moon largely because of the color and not because of some ominous spectre that looms dauntingly. While the blood Moon is a spectacular event we need to accord it the proper weight in astrology. The significance in astrology is the placement of the eclipse in an individualís personal unique horoscope chart for that is where the action is likely to occur. Any time the Moon is involved we typically stop to consider our emotions. Since the Moon represents the mother or the divine feminine in us that is where we go to find solace, comfort and a deepening of our values.

Elsewhere we see a collection of planets in Aquarius. Obviously the Sun is there because itís that time of year for Aquarius, but also involved are Venus and Mercury who are both cojoining the Sun at this time. Any time Venus is involved we can expect a heightened sense of harmony or passion, whereas Mercury brings a communicative vibe to the mix. Since Aquarius is an air sign and prone to flights of intellectual curiosity, Mercury manifests itself quite well in this regard. One of the major aspects of Aquarians is there tendency towards altruism on a collective front. They are especially known for their ability to serve the greater populus in ways that benefit the group as opposed to the individual. This selfless attitude allows them to step in to situations where others might be too invested personally, whereas, the Aquarian casts aside the drive for personal gain and turns attention towards what will work best for all involved. We see these characteristics as portrayed by great humanists such as Franklin Roosevelt or Abraham Lincoln.

ARIES (March 21- April 19)
The Lunar eclipse that occurs mid-week may highlight your associations with business partners and how you collaborate together. If you are in a relationship with others this could provide you with an opportunity to explore new ideas for moving your joint projects forward. Work with large organizations may be favored and amplified as well.
TAURUS (April 20 -May 20)
You may be involved in a lot of conversations regarding your career this week. You could be in line for a performance review or other new role regarding your primary occupation. Your primary relationship may play a significant role in how you move forward with your career so take that into account first.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
Your focus may be on travel and education this week. Whether you are being asked to attend a training seminar by your supervisor or you are actively seeking out a form of expansion you are likely to be in this realm. Your daily role may be under consideration and this may be the necessary step required to address that.
CANCER (June 22-July 22)
Your attention may be pulled towards large organizations this week. Conversations with financial institutions, insurance companies, and government entities are likely as three planets gather in that area of your life. A creative urge may tip the balance in your favor especially if children are involved in your conversations. They may play a larger than expected role.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Expect to be focused on your primary relationship this week. Conversations may swirl around topics that pertain to both of you and how you work together (or not) regarding your primary residence. Expect the topics to be a bit amplified and perhaps overly dramatic, but being forewarned is being forearmed. Act accordingly.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your health and how to shift to better habits may be on the top of your list this week. With such a heightened focus you may be able to set in motion new habits that alter your day in some manner but also allow you to better yourself at the same time. Research may play an important role.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Like a child you may be inspired to create something this week. A sense of the fantastic and imaginary may be what drives you in this direction. While that prospect may be incredibly appealing you may also find that you are hemmed in financially in some capacity that dampens the allure of personal expression.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21)
As Jupiter continues its journey through Scorpio you may be enjoying the extra boost brought on by the amplification of this beneficial planet. As such you may be singularly focused on events that are unfolding in your family this week. New arrivals and shifts are all highly likely as the attention in your life is focused there.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
With Mars currently moving through Sagittarius you may be very motivated and focused on getting your way. Although you may feel emboldened by Mars, you may be trying to juggle a transition of some sort that could involve a long-term financial transaction and therefore might require patience. Research may provide the missing puzzle piece. Get the facts.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Financial opportunities may occupy your head space this week as three planets gather in that area of your life. You might be looking to invest with business partners in a manner that allows all parties to benefit. As tempting as a deal may appear you might do well to pause and reflect before you act.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
The Sun, Mercury and Venus are all in Aquarius this week, providing you with a special glow. You may be quite chatty and animated in your dealings with co-workers and family members. Career options may also be quite evident as you look to exert yourself in a positive manner. Seize your time in the Sun.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
You may find that you are quite effective at teaching and presenting this week. You may be motivated to bring closure to a long-standing project and you may finally have the gumption and inspiration to see the project through. Try and remain emotionally detached despite an opportunity to see your project come to fruition.
